Tesla Roadster Release Conference

(November 16, 2017, USA) At 8:00 p.m. on November 16, Tesla released the Tesla Semi truck. Besides, a new Tesla Roadster will be officially unveiled at the conference. The new model only takes 1.9 seconds to reach the speed 0-96 km / h and top speed can up to 400 km / h. The car’s positioning is a two-door, four-seat, hard-top sports car and it will be in mass production by 2020 with a priced at 200,000 US dollars (about 1.3254 million yuan).



The basic configuration:
0-60 mph acceleration time: 1.9 sec
0-100 mph acceleration time: 4.2 sec
1/4 mile acceleration time: 8.8 sec
Range: 620 miles



The Roadster has three built-in motors with one in the front and two in the rear, driving in four-wheel drive with a peak torque of 10,000 Nm. It takes only 1.9 seconds at 0-60 mph, 4.2 seconds at 0-100 mph and the top speed can up to 250 mph(400km). The driving mileage is more than 620 miles (1,000 km).



Musk said it is easy to drive Roadster from Los Angeles to San Francisco (the distance between the two is about 615 km). Currently, the Roadster has been able to make a reservation for a down payment of $ 50,000 and paying the left in the future according to a different configuration which sells for 200,000 US dollars. In addition, Tesla also offers 1000 limited edition Roadster with a price of 250,000 US dollars.
